Drainback option
In a drainback system the heat transfer uid will ow into a holding tank if solar
loading does not take place. The drainback option initiates the lling process if
solar loading is about to start. If the drainback option is activated, the following
adjustment can be made.
Note:
A drainback system requires additional components such as a holding tank.
The drainback option should only be activated if all components required
are properly installed.
Time period – switch-on condition
The parameter tDTO is used for adjusting the time period during which the
switch-on condition must be permanently fullled.
Filling time
The lling time can be adjusted using the parameter tFLL. During this period, the
pump runs at 100 % speed.
Stabilisation
The parameter tSTB is used for adjusting the time period during which the
switch-off condition will be ignored after the lling time has ended.
Note:
If the drainback option is activated, the cooling functions and the anti-
freeze function will not be available.
Note:
The drainback option is only available in systems with 1 store and 1 col-
lector eld and if no cooling function is activated.
