What to do if my Respironics REMstar Plus M won't turn on?
    • M
      Mark YoungAug 13, 2025
If your Respironics Humidifier isn't turning on, first check the power outlet and ensure the device is properly plugged in. Verify that the AC power cord is correctly connected to both the power supply and the device's power inlet. If using DC power, ensure the DC power cord and battery adapter cable connections are secure, and check if the battery needs recharging or replacement. If the issue continues with DC, inspect the DC cord's fuse and replace if necessary. If you're still experiencing problems, contact your home care provider.

Why is the air from my Respironics Humidifier mask too warm?
    • E
      edward40Aug 17, 2025
If the air from your Respironics Humidifier mask is warmer than usual, it might be due to dirty air filters or the device operating in direct sunlight or near a heater. Clean or replace the air filters. Ensure the device is well-ventilated and away from bedding or curtains that could block airflow. Also, keep it away from direct sunlight and heating equipment. If the problem persists, contact your home care provider.

How to stop air leaks on Respironics Humidifier tubing?
    • R
      Raven CollinsSep 1, 2025
If you're experiencing excessive air leaks where the tubing connects to your Respironics Humidifier, the air outlet port may not be installed correctly. Remove the port and reattach it to ensure proper installation. To remove the port: * Put your thumb underneath the port and insert your index finger into the port opening. * Pivoting from the bottom, unsnap the port and pull it away from the device. To properly reattach the port: * Make sure it is correctly oriented (with the port opening at the top), and insert the two latches at the bottom of the port into the openings on the bottom of the device. * Push the top of the port down to snap it into place. Reattach your tubing, turn on the airflow, and check to ensure no air is escaping from the port area.

Why doesn't the Ramp feature work on my Respironics REMstar Plus M Humidifier?
    • V
      Valerie WarnerSep 4, 2025
The Ramp feature on your Respironics Humidifier may not work if your home care provider did not prescribe it, or if your CPAP pressure is already set to the minimum setting. Discuss the Ramp feature with your provider to see if they will change your prescription. If your provider has enabled Ramp, but the feature still doesn't work, check the CPAP setting on your Active Display screen. If CPAP is set to the minimum setting (4.0 cm H2O), the Ramp feature will not function.

Why does my Respironics REMstar Plus M Humidifier keep restarting?
    • J
      Joseph StephensSep 8, 2025
Your Respironics Humidifier might be restarting automatically due to troubleshooting software that monitors performance. This reset poses no danger and ensures you receive the prescribed therapy. However, if the device detects potential damage, it will shut down permanently and display a system error alert, indicating it should be returned to your home care provider for service.
