Why is the airflow from my Respironics Medical Equipment so warm?
    • R
      Ricky ZimmermanJul 26, 2025
If the airflow from your Respironics Medical Equipment feels warmer than usual, it might be due to dirty air filters or the device being in direct sunlight or near a heater. Try cleaning or replacing the air filters. Ensure the device is well-ventilated and away from bedding or curtains that could block airflow. Also, keep it away from direct sunlight and heating equipment. If you're using a humidifier, check its settings to ensure it's working correctly. The temperature of the air may vary somewhat based on your room temperature. If the issue persists, contact your home care provider.

      haroldtuckerAug 1, 2025
If your Respironics Medical Equipment's display is acting erratically, it could be due to the device being dropped or mishandled, or high Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). First, unplug the device and then reapply power. If the problem continues, try moving the device to an area with lower EMI emissions, away from electronic equipment like cell phones, cordless phones, computers, TVs, electronic games, and hair dryers. If the issue still occurs, contact your home care provider for assistance.

Why doesn't the Ramp feature work on my Respironics Medical Equipment?
    • R
      rwolfAug 13, 2025
If the Ramp feature isn't working on your Respironics Medical Equipment when you press the Ramp button, it could be because your home care provider didn't prescribe it for you, or your CPAP pressure is already set to the minimum. If Ramp hasn't been prescribed, discuss it with your provider. If it has been enabled but still doesn't work, check the CPAP setting on your Active Display screen. If CPAP is at the minimum setting (4.0 cm H2O), or the starting pressure is the same as the prescribed pressure, Ramp won't work. Also, ensure the ramp time setting is >0.
