Other causes include a dull or warped blade, which requires replacement or sharpening. Ensure you're using the correct blade size; replace it with a 254 mm diameter blade if needed. Also, make sure the wood doesn't move during the cut by using a clamp to secure the workpiece to the fence unit and table.
