Protection for Built-In Batteries
Batteries contain reactive chemicals in a solid housing. Improper
handling may, therefore, result in injuries or equipment damage.
CAUTION
Danger from batteries and capacitors
Bodily injury and equipment damage from explosion or
contact with chemicals
⇒ Preventive Measures:
• Do not attempt to reactivate discharged batteries by
heating or other methods (danger of explosion and
release of corrosive substances).
• Never charge batteries (danger from leakage and
explosion).
• Never throw batteries into a fire.
• Do not dismantle batteries.
• Do not damage electrical components installed in the
equipment.
Note: Environmental Protection and Disposal
In terms of the legal requirements, the batteries contained in
the product must be considered a hazardous material for land,
air and sea transport (danger of explosion).
- Dispose of batteries separately from other refuse.
- Observe the national specifications of the country of
installation.
