X5, Connection of Braking Resistor (+B, -B)
The terminals +B/-B are provided for connection of a suitable braking
resistor. For the connection, select a twisted and shielded link which is as
short as possible (maximum permissible length 2 x 5 m).

Note: The braking resistor heats up during operation.
Place the braking resistor at a sufficient distance from
heat-sensitive components.
Provide sufficient ventilation for the brake resistor.
The application of the FLR01 is not UL/cUL-certified.
WARNING
Damage to the device due to incorrect
connection!
Connect the braking resistor only between +B and -
B. Make sure specifically to avoid short-circuit
against ground.
