Why is my RHINO EC72 Lawn Mower vibrating excessively?
    • K
      Kevin StricklandSep 4, 2025
Excessive vibration in your RHINO Lawn Mower can stem from several causes. Start by checking the gearbox bolts and tightening them if they're loose. Inspect the blade holder and blades for any loose nuts, and tighten those as well. A bent output shaft can also cause vibration, and if it's bent, it should be replaced. Ensure the blades are free-swinging; if not, free them up. Uneven wear on blade tips can also be a culprit; weigh the blades to ensure their weight is within 1 oz. Other potential issues include broken blades, a bent blade carrier, an improperly seated blade hub, drivelines not phased correctly, or mismatched blades or bolts. Replace blades or bolts in sets. Also, make sure implement and tractor yokes are in line.
