6.2.3 POLYGON MIRROR MOTOR
1. Remove the laser unit (☛ 6.2.2).
2. Remove the heat sink [A] (4 screws).
3. Replace the polygon mirror motor [B] (4 screws, 1 connector).
NOTE: When installing the new polygon mirror motor, do not touch the surface of
the mirror with bare hands.
6.2.4 LD UNIT
1. Remove the laser unit (☛ 6.2.2).
2. Replace the LD unit [A] (3 screws, 1 connector).
NOTE: 1) Do not remove the screws [B].
2) Do not touch any variable resistors on the LD unit.
