Important Information on Installing the Griffin-C1 as a CC-CERTIFIED Machine compliant with IEEE
Std. 2600.1

Do the following seven steps if you want to install the Griffin-C1 as a CC-CERTIFIED MACHINE
compliant with IEEE Std. 2600.1
TM
-2009.
Note: Machines in production are CC-certified beginning in December 2012.
Important: If the customer requests maintenance on the machine, please perform the
maintenance without accessing SP mode.
1. Make sure the customer has received the English language Operating Instructions O/I) shown in
the page 8 - 10.
Important: For installations in the EU market, make sure this is the Ricoh-genuine O/I.
2. Tell the customer to read the “Notes for Administrators: Using this Machine in a
Network Environment Compliant with IEEE Std. 2600.1

-2009”.
