Why is my Riello UPS operating from the battery even with mains voltage present?
    • R
      Randy RoachAug 22, 2025
If your Riello UPS is operating from battery despite mains voltage, it could be due to the input voltage being outside the permitted tolerance range. In this case, the solution is to wait until the input mains voltage returns within the tolerance range, at which point the UPS will automatically return to mains operation. Another cause may be intervention of the input circuit breaker. If present, reset the circuit breaker by pressing the button on the back of the UPS, being cautious of a potential output overload.

How to troubleshoot a Riello UPS when the display does not light up?
    • C
      Cindy PenaAug 26, 2025
If the display of your Riello UPS doesn't light up, first, ensure that you have pressed the ON/OFF switch on the front panel. If it still doesn't light up, check that the power cable is correctly connected. Also, verify that there is mains voltage by testing the socket with another device, like a table lamp. Finally, check for intervention of the input circuit breaker. If present, reset the circuit breaker by pressing the button on the back of the UPS, being cautious of a potential output overload to the UPS.

If the buzzer of your Riello UPS sounds continuously and the display shows one of the following codes: A54, F50, F51, F52, L50, L51, L52, it indicates that the load applied to the UPS is too high. To resolve this, reduce the load to within the threshold of 100% (or the user threshold in the case of code A54). If the display shows a lock, remove the load and switch the UPS off and back on again.
