ules it has detected in the vessel as shown in Choose the appropriate ECM from

Features and Functions
e diagnostic features and functions available from PCM-09 systems via the
Mercury 10-pin can port are similar to those available on earlier PCM-555 and
ECM-555 equipped engines. e major dierence is primarily the connection
method of the scan tool and adapters required.
For descriptions of the various diagnostic functions present on PCM-09 systems
please refer to the MerCruiser PCM-555 EFI section of this manual. Please note
that not all engines provide all functions described. Features and functions are
dependent upon the PCM-09 application.
e TechMate Pro scan tool will typically display features and functions specic
to the engine you are connected to. For example certain features such as Trailer
Limit are only available on engines that are equipped with DTS (Digital rottle
and Shi). Refer to the engine manufacturer’s service documentation for details
on specic diagnostic tests and procedures.
