Features

Safety Features

Micro-computer controlled safety devices and automatic anti-frost protection.

Installation

Safety Devices

Flame Failure Safety

Monitors flame intensity and compares it to feedback signals; shuts off unit if incorrect.

Over Heat Protection Device

Shuts off gas supply if heat exchanger reaches 194°F.

No Water Safety

Prevents gas flow if water flow sensor stops sending magnetic pulses.

Thermal Fuse Safety

Breaks circuit to shut off power if heat exchanger reaches 264°F.

Combustion Fan Revolution Check

Monitors fan RPMs; adjusts speed or shuts down unit if deviation occurs.

Automatic Frost Protection

Activates anti-frost heaters below 37°F and can fire for 3 seconds to prevent freezing.

Check sensor wiring, resistance, and scale; replace sensor if faulty.

Error Code 34: Combustion Air Temperature Sensor Faulty

Check sensor wiring, fan blade, air flow; replace sensor if faulty.

Error Code 52: Modulating Solenoid Valve Abnormal

Check solenoid valve wiring, harness, and terminals; ohm out valve.

Error Code 61: Combustion Fan Failure

Check fan motor turning freely, wiring harness, and connections.

Error Code 71: Solenoid Valve Circuit Faulty

Check wiring harness to solenoids and ohm out each solenoid.

Error Code 72: Flame Sensing Device Faulty

Check micro amps, clean flame rod, check for obstructions, check wiring.

Error Code LC: Scale Build-up in Heat Exchanger

Turn off/on power; flush heat exchanger; replace heat exchanger.

No Code: No Water Flow Activation

Check filter, minimum flow rate, pipe dope, crossed lines, bleed over.
