IF THE MESSAGE ErtH OR ErP1 APPEARS ON THE DISPLAY DURING OPERATION, UNPLUG THE
INCUBATOR AND CONTACT THE SERVICE CENTRE.
4C - TEMPERATURE SETTING AND ADJUSTMENT
To set and adjust the temperature press the ( ) key or the ( ) key on the control panel. Press one of the two
keys to enter the Programme Mode (the display shows a “P” beside the temperature – photo H). Press and
release the ( ) key or the ( ) key to set the desired temperature. This will be memorized after a few seconds
(the display will show the present internal temperature and the letter “C” – photo I).
Once the new temperature is set, allow the machine to stabilize and check that the temperature is reached.
If you increase it, the heating element will activate (the LED will be on) heating the air until the temperature is
reached. If you decrease it, the heating element will remain inactive (the LED will be off) to allow the air inside
the incubator to cool.
The temperature shown on the display is an average of 12 points registered inside the incubator using annually
calibrated professional thermometers certied by an accredited calibration laboratory. It is therefore not required
or recommended to introduce a possibly inadequate external thermometer to check the temperature.
4D - INFORMATION FOR A CORRECT INCUBATION – ALL POULTRY
To obtain a successful incubation, please refer to the following table. Attention: the incubation time is indicative.
It is advisable to let the incubator work for 2-3 days longer than indicated to allow latecomers (who were not
eliminated during candling - see ch. 5) to hatch.
The incubator works correctly, reaching the reference parameters, in most latitudes and in all periods of the
year. In countries where atmospheric conditions are particularly extreme, or in the case of unfavorable periods
from a temporal point of view, to control and keep a constant level of humidity we suggest the purchase of the
patented humidier NEBULA
®
. NEBULA
®
is equipped with a continuous variable system which, by means of
an ultrasound generator, supplies energy to the water, thus producing microscopic droplets (fog effect) which
then pass into the incubator through the supplied hose. Getting in contact with the heat inside the machine,
the droplets are instantly vaporized creating the desired humidity, which is then homogenized by the incubator
fan. To obtain a successful incubation with NEBULA
®
, please refer to the following table:
