Installing batteries
This radio can be operated using :-
6 Alkaline LR6 (AA size) batteries.
AC adaptor (optional extra Roberts type PU6-B).
1. Open both battery compartments by pressing the latch marked
"OPEN", slide the cover in the direction of the arrow and lift off.
2. Insert 4 LR6 (AA size) batteries into the compartment marked "RADIO
BATTERY" and 2 LR6 (AA size) batteries into the compartment
marked "BACK-UP BATTERY" ensuring that the batteries are
positioned on top of the ribbons to allow for easy removal.
3. Replace the battery covers over their compartments and push in the
opposite direction to the arrows until a click is heard.
