(2) Loosen the lock nut on the rocker arm and turn the adjusting screw to adjust the clearance between
the rocker arm and the valve stem end.
(See Fig. 5-38.)
Tighten the lock nut.

Check and adjust valve clearance with engine coid.
Check operation of. valves by turning crankshaft .
Remeasure tappet clearance.
(3) Install rocker cover and gasket.
Rocker cover
M6 X 12 mm bolt - - - - 4 pcs.
5-4-12 SPARK PLUG
Install spark plug to the cylinder head.

Tightening toque

5-4-13 INTAKE AND EXHAUST MANIFOLD
(I) Install the intake manifold to the cylinder head with gasket.
EH12, 17 M6 flange nut .................. .. 2 pcs.
M6 X 25mm flange bolt ----...-- 1 PC.
I%25 M8 X 28mm bolt and washer - - - - 3 pcs.
Tightening toque
1 00-1 40 kg-cm
7.2-1 0.1 ft*lb
9.8-1 3.7 N*m
(2) Install the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head with gasket.
Tighten
two flange nuts.
