Precision Locator Maintenance
Th precision locator must be inspected periodically to make sure it is operating properly.
Procedure
1. Stop all motion on the section of the MagneMover LITE transport system where the
precision locator is installed.
2. Make sure the air pressure at the locator is correct and that the locator is opening and
closing with no binding.
3. Adjust the flow control valve to limit the pinning time to 100 ms or greater if required.
4. Visually inspect the air filter for the pneumatic system and clean if required.
5. Resume motion on the section of the MM LITE transport system that was stopped.
