Merge-Diverge Node
The additional properties for the Merge-Diverge Node are described after Figure 26. See the
Nodes section of the UI Reference in the MagneMover LITE Configurator User Manual for
detailed descriptions of all other items on the Merge-Diverge Node page.

• Entries and Exits – Lists the entry and exit paths for the node.
• Path – Provides menus that list all paths in the transport system for selection of the two
entry paths and the two exit paths where the node is located. The default is None.
NOTE: If the configured vehicle length is longer than the selected exit path, a warning
similar to the one that is shown in Figure 23 on page 21 is displayed.
• Clearance Distance – The location, in meters, to the center of the vehicle where the
trailing edge of the vehicle is considered cleared from the node. Applies to the trailing
edge of all vehicles as they exit the switch, regardless of vehicle direction. The default is
0.0 (no clearance distance, see Node Clearance Distances and Entry Gate Positions on
page 27).
The vehicle size that is configured on the Motor Defaults page is used to update this
value automatically once a Path is selected.
