We
recommend
that
you
use
a
Roland
Super
MPU
MIDI
interface
(S-MPU/PC,
S-MPU/AT;
separately
available)
when
using
the
GI-10
with
a
computer.
This
is
because
the
GI-10
can
gener-
ate
a
very
large
amount
of
MIDI
data
(needed
to
smoothly
express
delicate
pitch
changes),
and
the
serial
port
(RS-232C)
on
a
computer
may
not
be
able
to
handle
the
data
reliably,
leading
to
notes
being
dropped,
or
unwanted
holds
occur-
ring.
