Connecting to Your Computer
Connecting the RD-300GX to a V-LINK compatible image
device allows you to control the images with the RD-300GX.
To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers
or other devices, always turn down the volume, and
turn off the power on all devices before making any
connections.
V-LINK
V-LINK ( ) is functionality promoted by Roland
that allows linked performance of music and visual material.
By using V-LINK-compatible video equipment, visual effects
can be easily liked to, and made part of the expressive
elements of a performance.
1.
Hold down the [EXIT/SHIFT] button and press the
[SOUND CONTROL] button.
The upper right of the display will indicate [ ], and the
RD-300GX will be in video control mode.
You can control images using the twelve keys at the left
end of the keyboard.

While V-LINK is switched on, no sound is
produced when you press any of the twelve keys
at the left end of the keyboard.
2.
Hold down the [EXIT/SHIFT] button and press the
[SOUND CONTROL] button once again to exit.
The [ ] indication will go out, and V-LINK will turn off.
Depending on the screen that is displayed, there
will be cases in which the [ ] indication does not
appear even though V-LINK is on.
