How to set the last
step

Make sure that the
composer is stopped and in
the Step
Writing or Tap Writing mode.

Push the Scale Key
®
as many times
until the Dis-
play shows the scale you want.
See the Step
in the Display. It has
only 12 steps. This
means that the rhythm
will
be
played up to the 1 2th
steps, then
returns
to
the first step. That
is, this is the
rhythm of 3/4 time. The preset
rhythms B-1 to B-16
also need
12
steps.
The
number of the steps can be
changed, which we
call "setting
the last step".

Make
sure that the composer is stoped and in

Select the preset rhythm C-15 (Walz), and the Dis-
play responds with

step number needed
for your rhythm by pushing
the appropriate Main Key (1 to 16).
