Prüf- und Kontrollarbeiten - Trockenvacuumprobe
Ein wichtiger Beitrag zur Wartung und Pflege der Pumpe, Schläu-
che und Kupplungen bildet die Überprüfung auf Dichtheit. Aus
diesem Grund sollte eine Trockenvakuumprobe nach jedem Betrieb
und in regelmäßigen Abständen - monatlich durchgeführt werden.
- Pumpe gründlich entleeren.
- Saugeingang mit Blinddeckel verschließen (wenn Saugschläuche
geprüft werden, diese ankuppeln und das Ende mit Blinddeckel
verschließen).
- Entleerungshahn und Druckventile schließen.
- Motor in Betrieb nehmen und entlüften. Wird die Pumpe allein
geprüft, so wird in wenigen Sekunden ein Unterdruck von ca.
0,8 bar erreicht.
- Pumpe ausschalten.
- Die Pumpe ist genügend dicht, wenn der Unterdruck innerhalb
1 Minute nicht weiter als von 0,8 auf 0,7 bar absinkt.
- Sollten 0,8 bar Unterdruck nicht erreicht werden, muß die
Pumpe abgedrückt werden. Dafür genügt ein Druck von 3 - 6
bar, angeschlossen am Saugeingang.

Checking procedures - Dry vacuum test
An essential part of maintenance is to ensure that pump, hoses, and
couplings are water-tight. For this reason, dry vacuum tests should
be carried out after each use and and at regular intervals (monthly).
- Drain pump thoroughly.
- Close the suction inlet with a blind cap (when checking intake
hoses, couple them to suction inlet and close the end with a blind
cap).
- Close the drain valve and the pressure outlets.
- Engage the pump and prime.
When checking the pump only, a vacuum of 0.8 bar will be
obtained within a few seconds.
- Disengage pump and stop engine.
- Check the vacuum decrease with a timer. The pump is tight
enough (when checking pump only) if the vacuum does not
decrease from -0.8 to -0.7 bar within one minute.
- If -0.8 bar cannot be reached, the pump should be put under
pressure by water inducting. A pressure of 3 - 6 bar connected
to the suction inlet is sufficent.
