4.5.7 Isolating an Analog Switch Fault
A fault in an analog switch of the S2 type can generally be isolated by removing the
suspected switch transistor from its socket and replacing it with a jumper from the collector to the
emitter pins of the socket. In the case of an S3A type jumper the middle (drain) to the marked
(source) pins. If other unselected switches are suspected of causing the fault, remove them from
their sockets.
