8 x Errors, malfunctions and messages
8.3 Fault codes
Device-internal circula-
tion pump is excessively
noisy whi
le running
Air in the water circuit
Ɣ Fully vent the heating system and device-internal
circulation pump.
Noises caused by vibrations.
Ɣ Check the HPSU compact, its components and covers
to ensure they are fastened correctly.
Bearing damage in the device-internal circula-
tion pump.
Ɣ Re
duce pump speed [Min Perform Pump] and [Max
Perform Pump]).
Ɣ Replace device-internal circulation pump.
Water pressure at pump inlet too low.
Ɣ On the c
ontroller (rotary switch setting "Info" )
check whether there is adequate water pressure
(>0.5 bar).
Ɣ Ch
eck that the pressure gauge is working correctly
(connect an external pressure gauge).
Ɣ Ch
eck the primary pressure in the expansion
container and the water pressure, if necessary, refill
the heating water and reset the primary pressure
(see chapter 7.4).
Safety pressure relief
valve is leaking or always
open.
Expansion tank is defective.
Ɣ Re
place expansion tank.
Water pressure in the heating system is
too
high.
Ɣ On the control unit (rotary switch position "Info" )
check that the water pressure lies beneath the stated
maximum pressure. If necessary, bleed the water until
the pressure lies in central permissible range.
Safety pressure relief valve is stuck.
Ɣ Ch
eck safety pressure relief valve and if necessary,
replace it.
Turn the red knob on the safety pressure relief
va
lve counterclockwise. If you can hear a rattling
noise, the safety pressure relief valve needs
replacing.

In the case of all malfunctions / error messages due to possibly defective sensors, all associated connection cables, con-
nection points (plug contacts correctly in place) and printed
circuit boards must be checked before replacing the sensor.
