The FLOAT X2 allows for two-tiered rebound damping. High speed rebound (HSR)
can be adjusted using a 6 mm Allen key in the red rotary wheel and the low speed
rebound (LSR) can be adjusted with a 3mm Allen key.
Further information regarding adjusting the suspension elements
can be found in their instruction manual.
6.7 Additional components
Please always observe the safety regulations for road traffic in your current coun-
try. For example, there is a Europe-wide regulation stating that only certified pe-
dals with reflectors are permitted. A mechanical warning device (bell) is strongly
recommended and this is the law in many countries.
6.8 Storage and protection
If the bike is not used for a period greater than four weeks the drive battery
should be fully charged beforehand. The charger should not be constantly plugged
in.
The bike should be cleaned with a wrung-out cloth and protected with a wax
spray. The friction surfaces of the brakes should not be waxed.
The bike is then ready to be ridden again after a period of non-use.
If the bike is not used for a significant length of time we recom-
mend it be inspected, cleaned and preserved by a ROTWILD authori-
sed retailer.
The bike and the charger must be stored in a dry place. The tempe-
rature of storage must be within the range of 5 °C to 25 °C. Opti-
mal storage temperature: 10 °C - 15 °C.
