It is a double-insulated power tool, emphasizing safety in its design by eliminating the need for a three-wire grounded power cord. All exposed metal parts are isolated from internal motor components with protective insulation.

This miter saw is primarily used for crosscutting wood and plastic, as well as for cutting miters, joints, and for applications like picture frames, moldings, door casings, and fine joinery.
