Tyre Pressure Monitoring
System Light
w illuminates or flashes yellow.
Illuminates
Tire pressure below recommended
placard value, check and adjust tire
pressure. Tire messages are also in‐
dicated in the Driver Information Cen‐
ter (DIC). The recommended tire
pressure is even stated on a label on
the front left door frame.
Flashes
Fault in system or wheel without pres‐
sure sensor mounted (e.g. full-size
spare tire). After 60 - 90 seconds the
control indicator remains illuminated.
Consult a workshop.
Engine Oil Pressure Light
I illuminates red.
Illuminates when the ignition is
switched on and goes out shortly after
the engine starts.
Illuminates when the engine is
running
Caution
Engine lubrication may be inter‐
rupted. This may result in serious
damage to the engine.
1. Set gear shift lever to N.
2. Move out of the flow of traffic as
quickly as possible without imped‐
ing other vehicles.
3. Switch off ignition.

When the engine is off, consider‐
ably more force is needed to brake
and steer.
Check oil level before seeking assis‐
tance of a repair shop 3 186.
Low Fuel Warning Light
Y illuminates yellow.
Illuminates when level in fuel tank is
too low.
Catalytic converter 3 152.
Immobilizer Light
d flashes yellow.
Fault in the electronic immobilizer
system. The engine cannot be
started.
Headlamps
8 illuminates green.
Illuminated when the headlamps are
on 3 128.
l illuminates green.
Illuminated when high beam assist is
switched on 3 129.
High-Beam On Light
C illuminates blue.
Illuminated when high beam is on or
headlamps are in flasher mode
3 129.
