228 Vehicle care
If tire pressure is more than
19 psi, set it to the correct value.
Repeat the procedure until there
is no more loss of pressure.
If the tire pressure has fallen be‐
low 19 psi, the vehicle must not be
used. Seek the assistance of
a workshop.
18. Stow away tire repair kit in load
compartment.
Notice
The driving comfort of the repaired
tire is severely affected. The tire
must therefore be replaced. If there
is unusual noise or the compressor
becomes hot, turn the compressor
off for at least 30 minutes. The built-
in safety valve opens at a pressure
of 102 psi. The sealant can only be
stored for approximately 4 years, af‐
ter which time its sealing capability is
no longer guaranteed. Pay attention
to the storage information on the
sealant bottle. Replace the used
sealant bottle. Dispose of the bottle
as prescribed by applicable laws.
The compressor and sealant can be
used from approx. -22° F. The
adapters supplied can be used to
pump up other items, e.g. footballs,
air mattresses, inflatable dinghies,
etc.

The edge of the wheel cover could
be sharp, so do not try to remove
the cover with your bare hands.
Do not drop the cap or lay it face
down, as it could become
scratched or damaged.
