Place t he extracting tool in posi-
tion in such a way that the tw o
hooks (4) grip behind the sheet
steel rim
of the oil seal. Pre-ten-
sion the
two le gs (2) evenly with
cylinder head screws (1), taking
care that shaft (5) and thrust
screw (3) are in alignment.
Screw in thrust screw and extract
oil seal.

narrow and the ex tracting tool

posi tion , take off one leg of th e
extracting tool and insert both
hook s (l) in inclined posit io n.

!f the o il seal has got stuck ( oxi-
datio n), the sheet steel rim may
brea k. Ther efore it is advisable
lo knock th e oil se al out of its
force
fit by means of a tub e.
