When activation is finished, the display shows a tick to confirm activation.

Then the machine ready screen appears with theAquaClean 100% icon to
indicate that the filter has been activated.
Manual rinsing cycle
During the manual rinsing cycle, fresh water flows through the water and coffee
brewing circuit. This takes a few minutes.
Coffee brewing circuit rinsing

Place a container under the coffee dispensing spout.
GROUND COFFEE

Press the AROMA STRENGTH button and select GROUND COFFEE.
Note: Do not add pre-ground coffee in the pre-ground coffee compartment.

Press the CAFFÈ CREMA button. The machine starts dispensing water from
the coffee dispensing spout.

Wait until the machine stops dispensing water and empty the container.

Repeat steps 1 to 4 twice.
Hot water circuit rinsing

Place a container under the steam tube.

Press the HOT WATER button.

The machine starts dispensing hot water.

When the machine stops dispensing, repeat steps 2 and 3 twice.

When the machine has returned to the main menu, empty the container.
The machine is ready for use.
AquaClean filter
The AquaClean filter is designed to reduce limescale deposits in your coffee
machine and provide filtered water to preserve the aroma and flavor of each
cup of coffee. If you use a series of 8 Aquaclean filters as indicated in this user
manual, you don't have to descale your machine for 2 years or 5000 cups (with
a capacity of 100 ml).
