see

any
are
curled
under
the
chtp
lnstead
of
going
lnto
the
socket.

or foreign
matter

caPacltors
the
rtght
values?
Check thelr voltage
ratlng.
Underrated
capacltore

across
the
LzV
power
supplles
may
have
rrcrked
for
some
tlne
before the
caps flnally
degraded
enough
to
cause
problems.
Even lf
the
voltages
look
ok,
ar..,.
of these
caps
MUST
be replaced
wlth
10uf
25V caps as
they
w111
cause
problems
sooner
or later.

Check for
temperature
sensltlve
chlps.
Use
the
TEMPEMTURE
test.
Check for
lnproper
solder
connectlons.
Inspect
the
board
for
graylsh
solder
areas
on the
plns.
A11
feed-through
holes
should
be
fllled.
"Beads"
of solder
lnstead
of a
smooth
base
on a
pin
are
also
suspect.
Touch
up the
board
wlth
a
snall
solder
ttp
and
run
the
CYCLER
test.
