HWS TMV blending valve controller
A Salamander approved HWS Blending valve controller will protect booster pumps in systems
where the temperature of the stored hot water is uncontrolled or crudely controlled via boiler
thermostat only – see below.

As a non-preferred method, a single
positive head pump may be fitted
between the shower valve and the shower
head.
• The shower head and all pipework
must be positive head and allow a
natural flow of 2 litres per minute of
mixed water.
• The hot water connection must be a
top or side enty flange or secondary
return connection on the cylinder
• Negative head pumps must not be
used
• Supplies to shower should be no
longer than 5m in 22mm pipe(2m of
15mm)
