Clogged nozzle
Turn off the pressure on the
pump. Remove and clean
the nozzle. Decompress the
hoses well.
The jet narrows at
reversals

Air intake in the paint
Check that there are no air
intakes in the suction pipe.
Viscosity too high Dilute the paint.
The head gets dirty
frequently
Too much air Reduce the air pressure.
Fluid seal (or cartridge) leak
Replace the seal or
cartridge.
The paint comes
out of the
air
holes in the head
Defective nozzle seal
Replace it.
Insufficiently tightened ring Squeeze it.
Paint leakage
Impurities in paint
Open and close the gun
control 3 or 4 times.
Worn out needle
Replace the needle
and nozzle.
Worn cartridge or gasket Replace it.
