Operation
• Thetemperatureofthehotwateriscontrolledwiththecylindersensorandthesuppliedcontroller.
• Thecontrollerhasabuiltintimeclockcontrolandhasbothdailyandweeklysterilisationfunctionsforlegionella.
• Thesystemisabletobesetupasopenventedorpressurised.
• Thecoilwithinthecylindermustbedesignedforusewithaheatpumpwithasurfaceareaofatleast2.5m².
• Aguidelineforsizingthecylinderwouldallow55litresofwaterperpersoneachday.
• Itisrecommendedthattheheatpumpissizedsothatitisabletoreheatthecylinderwithinanhour.
• Aswithmostcylinders,itispossibletoconnectaPVsystemtotheimmersionheaterstoreducecosts.Abatterystoragesystemisalsoagreat
waytohelpwiththis.
• Theheatingsystemiscontrolledviaathermostat/timeclockthatiswiredbacktotheinternalcontrolboard(MIM).
• Thereisnotalimitationtothenumberofheatingzonesthatcanbeconnectedtothissetup.
• Thissetupshowsoneheatingzone.
• Eachheatingzonewillbecontrolledbyitsownthermostatortimer,thiswilloperateit’sownzonevalvewhichwillthencontrolthepump.This
inturnwillcreatetherunsignalfortheheatpumptooperateinheatingmode.
• Whilsttheheatpumpisrunning,itwillbeconstantlyadjustingthewatertemperaturetosuittheambienttemperaturesandconditions.Thisis
theweathercompensationoftheunit.
