Troubleshooting
5-2-3 When the Outdoor Unit Does Not Operate. (Initial Diagnosis)
1) Checklist :
(1) Is input voltage normal? (198-264V~)
(2) Is the set temperature of the remote control higher than room temperature in COOL mode?
(3) Is the set temperature of the remote control lower than room temperature in HEAT mode?
(4) Is the POWER-IN connector (CN71) linked correctly?
(5) Is the indoor unit wire properly connected with the outdoor unit wire?
2) Troubleshooting procedure
Remove power cord and plug in again in approx. 5 seconds
Is operating lamp blinking in 3 minutes and then lamp off?
Voltage at pin #46 of micom IC01? (High level)
Normal
Micom (IC01) is faulty.
Driver IC03 (KA2657) is faulty.
Relay (RY72) is faulty.
Compressor or compressor capacitor is faulty.
Voltage at pin #15 of IC03 (KA2657)? (Low level)
Does operation start after 3 minutes when run/stop
button of the remote control unit pushed?
Check as in the procedure "No Power
parts". Refer to page 5-2.
Ia AC 198~264V applied between the Terminal Tap(CN71)
and RY72 Terminal NO ④?
