Using the Magic Plus mode
In the Magic Plus mode, you can capture a photo with various effects.
Option Description
Landscape
Capture still-life scenes and landscapes.
Text
Clearly capture text from printed or electronic
documents.
Sunset
Capture scenes at sunset, with natural-looking
reds and yellows.
Dawn
Capture scenes at sunrise.
Backlight
Capture backlit subjects.
Beach & Snow
Reduce underexposure of subjects caused by
sunlight reflected from sand or snow.
3D Photo
Capture scenes with a 3D effect (the 3D effect
works only on a 3D TV or 3D monitor).

Align your subject in the frame, and then half-press
[Shutter] to focus.

Press [Shutter] to capture the photo.
Using the Scene mode
In Scene mode, you can capture a photo with options that are
preset for a specific scene.

Rotate the mode dial to g .

Select .

Select a scene.
• If the option display does not appear, press [ o ], or press
[
m ]  g  Select Scene, and then select a scene.

a tripod is recommended).
