Gettingstarted
• Make sure that the terminal is more than 30 cm away from other devices
that are compatible with wireless charging. If you fail to do so, the
terminal may not be detected correctly and may not be able to charge.
• While charging with a wireless charger, it may be di󱐰cult to watch TV
or receive content. If you want to watch TV or receive content while
charging, please use the AC adapter. Also keep the terminal as far away
from the AC adapter's power plug as possible.
• If the terminal becomes hot, charging speed may decrease or stop.
• If you play games, watch movies, or use any functions that consume a
large amount of power, charging may stop.
ChargingwithmicroUSBcable
You can charge the terminal with a PC by connecting it to a PC using a
Micro USB cable 01 (sold separately).
• For connection to a PC, see P.132.
• When you perform USB connection with a PC, popup screen may appear
on the PC. If you just want to charge the terminal without synchronizing
to the PC, select "キャンセル (Cancel)".
• Depending on the terminal condition, it may take time for charging, or
may not be charged.
Whenthebatteryisalmostexhausted
Notication tone sounds, a message prompting to charge appears and
the display dims. When the battery is exhausted, the power of the terminal
automatically turns o󱐯. Depending on the function or application, a
message indicating low battery may appear when you try to activate them
and they may not be activated.

• The starting screen appears, and then the lock screen appears.
• When you turn the power on for the rst time, make the initial settings
following to the onscreen instructions (P.36).

■ Checking the radio wave condition
An icon indicating radio wave reception level appears on the status bar
(P.38).

appears, you are out of LTE/FOMA service area or in a place
where the radio wave cannot reach.

• The terminal vibrates and power turns o󱐯.
Setting/Cancelingscreenlock
You can set the screen lock to prevent the erroneous operation of the
touch screen or keys.
• When the display is turned o󱐯 with "Screen timeout" (P.115) set, the
screen lock activates automatically after about 5 seconds.
