Settingngerprintauthentication
Register ngerprints or set function to use or substitute password. You
can register up to four ngerprints.
• For unlocking method of screen lock, see "Setting unlock method for the
screen lock" (P.117).
■ Registering ngerprint

From the Home screen, → "Settings" → "Lock screen and
security" → "Fingerprints"

After this step, follow the onscreen instructions to register
ngerprint
• Register the security to protect ngerprint for the rst registration.

security" → "Fingerprints"
• Cancel the security to protect ngerprint.

Touch and hold the ngerprint to unregister → "REMOVE" →
"REMOVE"
Authenticatingngerprint

When the ngerprint authentication screen appears, place
your nger over the ngerprint sensor
• If authentication failed, put o󱐯 your nger from the ngerprint sensor
then retry authentication.
Information
• When the security is not registered correctly, tap to cancel the
screen lock using the method of unlock when you registered the
ngerprint.
