Why are the flames on my Samsung NX58H9500W surface burner so large and yellow?

Very large or yellow surface burner flames on your Samsung range can be caused by a wrong orifice being assembled. Check the burner orifice size and contact your installer if you have the wrong orifice (LP gas instead of natural gas or natural gas instead of LP gas).

Excessive condensation in your Samsung range's warming drawer can occur if the temperature setting is too high. Also, ensure foods being warmed are covered with a lid or aluminum foil. Do not attempt to warm liquids in the drawer; remove them.

What to do if Samsung Ranges oven burner will not shut off?
A
aguilartracySep 9, 2025
If the oven burner on your Samsung range won't shut off, it could be due to a few reasons:
* The oven door lock might be turned on. The display will show the Lock icon. Hold the oven door open and press the START/SET button for 3 seconds. The oven will beep and the Lock icon will turn off.
* The Sabbath function may have been activated. SAb and the time of day will show in the display. To turn off the oven only, press the OFF/CLEAR button. To cancel the Sabbath function and reactivate the controls and signals, press and hold the Bake and Touch to Wake-Up buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Why doesn't my Samsung NX58H9500W warming/storage drawer slide smoothly?
L
Laura HowardSep 12, 2025
If the warming drawer or storage drawer on your Samsung range doesn't slide smoothly, it may not be properly aligned with the full-extension roller guide rails or nylon drawer guides. Remove and replace the drawer. Also, the contents in the drawer might be too heavy. Reduce the weight and/or redistribute the contents in the drawer.
