4-2. How to check fault symptom
4-2-1. When the Power Does Not Turn On
Symptom
• The LED on the front panel of the monitor does not work when the power is connected and the Power
button is pressed.
Major
checkpoints
• Check power fuse of IC202, and output voltage.
• Check connection between CN201 and Main board.
• Check the Main board Power.
Diagnostics
Check the connection status of the
single cable.
Yes
Is DC 22V measured at Pin 2 of
IC202?
No
Check the circuits related to CN201
and IC202.
Yes
When DC 22V is measured at Pin2,
are DC 5V measured at TP_5V?
No
Check the circuits around to IC202.
Yes
Is appropriate power supplied to each
power ICs of the board?
No
Check the circuits around IC201,
IC301, IC302, Q302, Q301.
Yes
Check the panel and
replace the main board..
Caution • Make sure to disconnect the power before working on the Main board.
