NON-FREESAT CHANNELS
In addition to Freesat channels, the Freesat box can be used to watch other
free channels, as long as they are broadcast from the same satellites as
Freesat.
To view non-Freesat channels this option must be enabled in the main
menu.
Tuning in Non-Freesat Channels
Refer to the illustration on the right:
1. Press the MENU button on the Remote Control to enter the main menu.
2. Select Settings and press OK to Confirm.
3. Press the
buttons to select Other in the section bar.
4. Press the
buttons to select Show Non-Freesat Channels. Press the
Press the
buttons to enable the option.
5. Press the
buttons to select Add Non-Freesat Channels. Press the OK
button to confirm.
6. Enter the frequency and symbol rate of the transponder to scan, using
the 0-9 buttons, and its polarization by using the
buttons. You can
move between the three items using the
buttons. When you have
entered the tuning information, press the BLUE button to start the
scan.
7. The Freesat box will take a few moments to complete the scan. While
it is scanning, the Freesat box displays the number of TV and radio
channels found so far. When it is finished, the Freesat box will display a
list of all the channels found.
8. You can choose to watch a non-Freesat channel from this list by moving
the orange bar using the
buttons to highlight the channel you want
and pressing the OK button, or return to watching TV by pressing the
BACK button or the EXIT button.
