Excessive
volume
may
cause
speaker
breakdown
or
become
a
nui-
sance
to
other
people.
To
avoid
this,
be
sure
to
turn
the
volume
con-
trol
of
the
amplifier
to
the
minimum
position
prior
to
operating
the
tape
deck.
Do
not
touch
the
tape
surface
directly
with
your
fingers.
Any
dirt
or
dust
on
the
tape
will
smear
the
heads
and
deteriorate
reproduction.
If
there’s
any
slack
in
the
tape,
eliminate
it
using
a
pencil
or
the
like
as
shown.
If
you
use
such
a
cassette
without
taking
up
the
slack
first,
it
is
possible
that
the
tape
becomes
entangled
and
permanently
damaged.
As
the
tape
inside
a
C-120
cassette
is
extremely
thin,
utmost
care
should
be
taken
in
handling
the
cassette.
Tape
may
be
deformed
or
slackened
in
some
cases,
causing
distortion
and
other
undersirable
results.
For
this
reason,
the
C-120
cassette
is
not
recommended
for
general
use.

taken
off,
by
lifting
it
slightly
upwards
with
both
hands,
as
shown
in
the
illustration,
Pull
the
Head
Cover
toward
you.
Load
the
cassette
straight
into
the
cassette
compartment.
When
the
buttons
are
pushed
and
the
unit
is
put
into
operation,
the
cassette
is
held
in
place
so
it
cannot
be
removed.

cassette,
always
push
the
STOP
button
and
pull
it
toward
you.
