Connect overflow pipe with 22mm compression fitting, ensuring continuous fall.

Screened Breather Installation

Fit screened breather into lid and secure with the plastic nut.

Electrical Supply Fusing and Isolation

Supply fused at 13A via accessible double pole isolating switch.

Heat-Resisting Cable Specification

Use heat-resisting cable (85°C) with minimum 1.5 mm² cross-section.

Thermostat and Thermal Cut-out Adjustment

Check and adjust thermostat and thermal cut-out before final connection.

Cable Preparation and Entry

Strip cable sheath and conductors; thread cable through the grip.

Conductor Connections to Terminals

Connect live, neutral, and earth conductors to their respective terminals.

Terminal Cover and Grip Fastening

Fit terminal cover securely and tighten cable grip screws.

Final Supply Connection Safety

Connect supply cable after fitting, ensure electrical supply is off.

Setting Santon Water Heater Temperatures

Control Thermostat Adjustment Guide

Adjust thermostat to max, then back 45° for recommended setting.

Thermal Cut-out Calibration

Set thermal cut-out 15°C above thermostat, not exceeding 85°C.
