What to do if Sanyo Denki Controller servo motor goes out of control?
    • P
      Patricia Solomon DDSJul 25, 2025
If the Sanyo Denki Controller servo motor goes out of control, it could be due to an incorrect order of the servo motor power line phase or incorrect wiring of the encoder. Check the servo motor power line and the wiring of the encoder cable.

Why Sanyo Denki Controller servo motor momentarily operates but will not operate after that?
    • A
      Alison PerezJul 29, 2025
The servo motor might operate momentarily and then stop if any of the servo motor power lines are disconnected. Check the servo motor power line. Also, after changing any settings, remember to re-turn on the power. Always turn off the power supply when performing corrective actions.

What to do if Sanyo Denki Controller shows overshoot or undershoot at start-up/stop?
    • A
      Ashley PattersonAug 2, 2025
If you observe overshoot or undershoot during the start-up or stop of the Sanyo Denki Controller, try the following: adjust the automatic tuning 'response performance', decrease the velocity loop gain, increase the constant in velocity integration, slow down the command acceleration and deceleration pattern, or activate the position command low-pass filter.

How to fix abnormal noise occurred in Sanyo Denki Controller?
    • J
      James JacksonAug 7, 2025
If abnormal noise occurs with the Sanyo Denki Controller, check the machine installation for gaps or misalignment between couplings. You can also operate the servo motor in stand-alone style. Ensure that twisted-pair and shielding are applied to the signal lines of the motor encoder, and verify that the motor encoder line and servo motor power line are not wired in the same duct. Finally, check for any decrease in power supply voltage.

What to do if Sanyo Denki Servo Drives motor does not rotate but 7-segment LED displays rotating '8'?
    • E
      Emily KimAug 16, 2025
If the 7-segment LED displays a rotating character “8 “(Servo ON status), but the motor does not rotate, first, check if the command is inputted using a digital operator's monitor. If the monitor value is zero, input a command. Also, ensure the servo motor's power line is connected. Check for any inputted torque restrictions and review the “Functions enabling condition settings “. Stop the input of deviation clear and encoder clear, and re-check “Functions enabling condition settings “.

What to do if Sanyo Denki Servo Drives 7-segment LED does not blink even if main power is ON?
    • B
      Benjamin RobinsonAug 20, 2025
If the 7-segment LED does not blink even when the main power is ON, check the voltage at the power input terminal and verify the power supply if the voltage is low. Ensure wires and screws are fastened properly. If the internal power circuit of the servo amplifier is defective, replace it. Also, stop the input of Over-travel and Emergency Stop. Check the “Functions enabling condition settings “ and turn on /HWGOFF1 and /HWGOFF2 inputs.
