Calibration/Adjustment Sequence
Check and, if necessary, adjust the following factors:
Preload
Reproducibility (standard deviation)
Off-center load
Span
Linearity
Note: The test procedures described in the following correspond to those described
in the Sartorius Standard Operating Procedures, numbers WKD-037-01 and
WKD-038-01. These also correspond to the specifications listed in the “Ser-
vice Specifications Sheets for Master
pro
Balances.”
Prerequisites for Calibration/Adjustment
The following conditions are required for calibration/adjustment of the bal-
ance.
Ambient Conditions
An area with favorable ambient conditions
A level surface, free of vibration
No direct source of heat radiation
No drafts
Operating Conditions
The balance must be leveled using the level indicator
The balance must have warmed up for the required period of time
