Fasten the connecting piece with screws from the ash drawer and
replace the top plate.

Removing the cover plate from the top plate
To remove the cover plate from the top plate, you can use a slotted
screwdriver as illustrated below. Tilt the screwdriver downwards, and
the cover plate will come loose.
