Check that the particulate filters are suffi-
ciently pressed in. There is a risk of leakage
if the brackets on the particulate filters are
not sufficiently pressed in. There is a risk of
leakages if the brackets on the particulate fil-
ters protrude so that the cover plates, which
are fitted later, do not completely seal with
the silencer.
Do not remove the tool until after pressure
testing, when the particulate filters are
screwed into place.
5. Carry out a leak test of the particulate filters.
Pressurise the silencer with compressed air.
Read the pressure on the pressure testing
cover. When the pressure is 0.2 bar, stop add-
ing compressed air. After 15 seconds the
pressure must not drop below 0.1 bar.
Fit: 2 284 630 Pressure testing equipment
with 2 264 805 Adapter on exhaust intakes.
The adapter is included in 2 263 984 Tool kit
for silencer with two particulate filters.
Connect 99 405 Clutch bleeder to the pres-
sure testing equipment.
