15. Disposal and recycling
Notes for packaging
The packaging materials are recy-
clable. Please dispose of packag-
ing in an environmentally friendly
manner.
You can nd out how to dispose of the disused
device from your local authority or city adminis-
tration.
Fuels and oils
Before disposing of the unit, the fuel tank and the
engine oil tank must be emptied!
Fuel and engine oil do not belong in household
waste or drains, but must be collected or disposed
of separately!
Empty oil and fuel tanks must be disposed of in
an environmentally friendly manner.
Check and set the electrode gap. To make sure that
the engine remains e󰀩cient, the spark plug (8) must
have the right electrode gap (0.7-0.8 mm).
Manually screw the spark plug (8) in and tighten it
with the spark plug spanner (g) approximately 1/4 of
a revolution.
Place the spark plug connector on the spark plug (8).
Cleaning the oat chamber (g. Z)
m ATTENTION! Only remove the oat chamber when
the engine is cold!
1. Close the fuel valve (11).
2. Loosen the drain plug (t) on the oat chamber and
drain the fuel into a suitable container.
3. Attach the drain plug (t) again
4. Loosen the fastening screw (u) of the oat cham-
ber.
5. Unscrew the oat chamber and radial seal and
thoroughly clean them in a non-ammable solvent
and let them dry. Check the radial seal for dents
and damage.
6. Screw both parts back on.
7. Screw on the fuel valve (11) and check it for leaks.

Important hint in case of sending the plates to a
service station:
Due to security reasons please see to it that the vibra-
tory plates are sent back free of oil and gas!

ables.
Wear parts*: Spark plug, oil, belt, rubber pad, air lter
