Why won't my Scheppach Portable Generator start?

  Your Scheppach Portable Generator might not start due to several reasons: there's no fuel in the tank, the fuel valve is closed, the air filter is dirty, the engine switch is set to “OFF”, the recoil starter is defective, there's no engine oil, the spark plug is dirty, the engine oil level is low, or the on/off switch for the motor is incorrectly set. To resolve this, fill the tank, open the fuel valve, clean the air filter and spark plug, set the engine switch to “ON”, repair the recoil starter, refill the engine oil, and ensure the on/off switch is in the correct position.

  If your Scheppach Portable Generator is running loudly or irregularly, the spark plug or air filter might be dirty, the fuel could be contaminated or stale, the choke lever may be set to “CHOKE”, or you might be using the incorrect fuel. Try cleaning or replacing the spark plug and air filter, draining and replacing the fuel, turning the choke lever to the “RUN” position, and ensuring you use the correct fuel.
