5. INNER SHELL
For optimized impact absorption properties, the inner shell of
the helmet consists of several components. This combination of
different elements achieves better absorption and distribution of
impact forces and gives you a high level of protection. The large
side sections ensure the helmet provides optimum fit and the
greatest comfort.
6. DOWN FORCE (D-FORCE) SPOILER
The SR1's D-Force spoiler can assist the rider in maintaining
proper head angle in differing riding conditions, and assure
optimal aerodynamic performance, by varying the amount of
downward force applied to the helmet by the airstream. Two
spoiler positions are available.
Down position: Standard downthrust,
recommended for motorcycles with high
fairing, and riding in an upright position.
Up position: Achieves 60 % greater
downward thrust, recommended for
motorcycles with low or no fairing, and
riding in a crouched position.
