Warning:
Clean your helmet carefully!
For cleaning instructions see section H.1. (care and
maintenance – outer helmet shell) of this manual.
Caution:
Do not carry the helmet on the motorcycle’s helmet storage
lock while riding in order to avoid exhaust pipe burns, tire
abrasion, and strap damage to the helmet.
Caution:
Keep the helmet outside the reach of pets to avoid the
helmet being damaged by chewing, scratching or other
mistreatment.
2. SAFETY ADVICE CONCERNING THE FACE SHIELD
Warning:
Keep your helmet (Face Shield) in good condition!
If your Face Shield becomes too scratched or uncleanable,
replace it with a new one. Impaired visibility causes
accidents. Clean your Face Shield only with mild soap diluted
in tap water. Rinse well with clean tap water, and dry with a
soft cloth. Never use benzene, gasoline, glass cleaner or any
other solvents. Do not attach stickers or adhesive tape to the
Face Shields, as this will weaken the hard coating, damaging
it. Do not drive with a dim or blurred shield. Impaired vision
can cause an accident resulting in serious personal injury or
death.
Warning:
Remove protective film before using the helmet!
The protective film fastened to the Face Shield to protect it
from scratches in transit must be removed before use.
